How much a website costs
Short answer: a business card site is $300–450, a business site $500–900, a custom scenario $1000–1800, a film-like site $1800–3000, a site with its own back office $3000–6000. Timelines run from one day to three weeks. Below is what makes up that sum and why sites that look alike cost differently.
What the price is made of
The price is driven up not by “prettier pictures” but by four things you can actually see in the work.
Scope
One page or twelve. Every new page is not a copy: it has its own copy, structure and headings for search.
How custom it is
A template goes up in an hour. Your own design and your own scenario take weeks — but the site then looks like nobody else’s.
Interaction
Video in the page, a calculator, a live system in a window, scroll-driven animation — each of these is written by hand for that specific site.
A back office
If you need not just pages but tracking of requests, clients and payments — that is a second half of the project, often bigger than the site itself.
Why not a $100 website builder
A website builder is a fine option if you just need to “be online”. It gives you a template where everything has already been decided for you: the same blocks, the same animations, the same look as the shop next door. The trouble starts when the site has to do something: calculate a price, show your own system, take requests straight into Telegram, load in a second on a weak connection. Then the template has to be broken — and that costs more than building it your way in the first place.
How we count
We do not name a number off the top of our head. The pricing page has a calculator: pick the type of site, the number of pages, the languages and the features you need — and you see a range and a timeline. Then we make the first-screen mockup for free, before any payment: you look at a real design of your own site rather than a description in words, and only then decide.
The questions people ask most
Can it be done cheaper?
Yes, if you remove what costs time: fewer pages, a simpler scenario, your own copy and photos instead of ours. That does not make the site worse — it makes it smaller.
What is included in the price?
Design, build, copy, a phone layout, basic SEO, a request form into Telegram or email, domain setup and launch. Hosting on Vercel for a site like this is usually free.
When do I pay?
One full payment after you approve the first-screen mockup. No blind prepayments and no “milestone” invoices you cannot check.
Will the site be mine?
Yes: the code, the domain, the hosting and the accounts are in your name. There is no studio subscription for “renting” your site.
